Fund
your Squadmint
in three steps.

Squadmint runs on-chain. Your balance lives in a Solana wallet you fully own, held as USDC, a 1:1 US-dollar stablecoin. To top it up, buy USDC on a regulated exchange and send it to your address. No fees come out of the transfer beyond whatever the exchange charges for its withdrawal.

Short version

01 · the three moves
Step one

Buy USDC on your exchange

Deposit local currency from your bank into Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Luno, whichever one operates where you live. Then buy USDC on the Solana network.

Step two

Copy your Solana address

Inside Squadmint open Profile → tap your $handle. Your Solana address is shown with a copy button and QR code. That address is your wallet.

Step three

Withdraw USDC to that address

On the exchange, choose Withdraw → USDC → Solana network → paste address. Seconds later your Squadmint balance reflects the deposit.

Profile → tap your handle → see your wallet

Your Solana address isn't buried in a settings menu. From home, open the Profile tab, tap your $handle, and you land on this screen. It's always yours, the same address, every time.

Two ways to share it:

  1. Copy the text address and paste into your exchange's withdrawal screen.
  2. Scan the QR with the exchange app on a second device, it fills the withdrawal form for you.

03 · exchanges

These exchanges let you buy USDC and withdraw it on the Solana network to a non-custodial address. A few platforms (notably Bitvavo and Revolut) don't allow on-chain withdrawal, those are marked and greyed out so you know to skip them.

Detailed walkthrough

04 · step by step

Expand any step to see exactly what to click. This is the same sequence every exchange uses, just different wording.

01Load your bank money onto the exchange

On your exchange of choice, complete ID verification (KYC) if you haven't already. Then deposit local currency using whichever method is supported where you live, usually a bank transfer, sometimes instant EFT, Pix, SEPA, Faster Payments, or a card deposit.

  • EU: SEPA transfer on Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, free and next-day.
  • South Africa: instant EFT on Luno or VALR, usually within minutes.
  • US: ACH on Coinbase or Kraken, 1–3 business days, free.
  • UK: Faster Payments on Kraken or Coinbase, free, minutes.

You'll see local currency show up in your exchange balance when it clears.

02Buy USDC, pick the Solana network

Go to the trade or buy screen and search for USDC. Before confirming, make sure the network is set to Solana, not Ethereum, not BSC, not any other chain.

  • On Binance: Buy → USDC → after purchase, when you withdraw, pick Solana (SOL) as the network.
  • On Coinbase: Buy USDC → then Send → Solana.
  • On Kraken: Buy USDC → Funding → Withdraw → Solana.

The amount of USDC you receive is the USD value, minus whatever the exchange charges for the buy. USDC is pegged to the US dollar 1:1.

03Grab your Squadmint Solana address

Open Squadmint, tap Profile in the bottom tab bar, then tap your $handle at the top. Your Solana address and a QR code appear on screen.

Tap Copy to put the address on your clipboard. Or, on the exchange app, tap Scan QR and point your phone at the QR code on this Squadmint screen, that fills the withdrawal form automatically and sidesteps any typo risk.

04Withdraw USDC to your Squadmint address

On your exchange, navigate to Withdraw → USDC. Critical selections:

  • Network: Solana. Double check.
  • Address: paste your Squadmint Solana address.
  • Amount: whatever you want to top up.

The exchange may email or text a confirmation code. Approve, and the transfer usually lands in your Squadmint wallet in under 30 seconds. Your balance updates automatically.

05Send a small test first (optional but recommended)

If this is the first time you're sending to your Squadmint address, send a few dollars first. Wait for it to appear. Only then send the rest.

Self-custody means there's no customer support who can reverse a mistaken transaction. The test-send habit is cheap insurance.
